This intricate, hand-hammered gong is a masterpiece of Himalayan craftsmanship, serving as both a powerful sound healing tool and a sacred work of art. The polished surface features layers of profound spiritual symbolism.
At the absolute center is the Seed Syllable ‘Hum’ (ཧཱུྃ), enclosed within a square Yantra palace, which represents the center of the cosmos and the realization of enlightenment. Radiating from this center are twelve distinct oval panels, each meticulously engraved with a stylized depiction of the Tibetan Zodiac animals (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig), symbolizing the cyclical nature of time and cosmic harmony. The entire composition is encircled by a geometric meander border, representing the fence to the acquired knowledge, guiding the practitioner toward inner peace.
